The Journey
dr. Celline Wijaya, MMSc is a physician, health researcher, lecturer, content creator, and mother of two. Born and raised in Jember, East Java, she began her medical studies at Airlangga University's Faculty of Medicine at the age of 15 — graduating as one of the youngest medical doctors in her class.
She went on to earn a Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery at Harvard Medical School through the LPDP scholarship, where her thesis research examined maternal mortality and health system factors in low-resource settings in Jember, Indonesia.
Currently, she serves as a lecturer at the University of Ciputra School of Medicine in Surabaya, while continuing to actively educate hundreds of thousands of followers on health, wellness, and the academic journey through her social media platforms.
Beyond medicine, she is a runner — a half-marathoner who believes that a healthy life starts with movement. She also founded Empower Indonesia, providing scholarships for talented individuals from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, and DokterPelari, a running community promoting evidence-based health content.
